Dancing Lily

Here is a video of Lily dancing the other night. It so cute to see everyone dancing. I can't wait to see her at her recital this June. I just purchased pictures and you could also purchase recital picture buttons to wear with her name on it.

Tea Party!!!

“I’m having a Tea Party, it’s just for fun!
So, Dahling, if you can make it…
I would love for you to come.
Just throw on a frilly dress
And gobs of jewelry galore.
We’ll have snacks, play games
And so much more!!
I’d like to know you better,
And for you to know me…
So, have your Mom call my Mom
And we’ll do Tea!”

*Don’t forget to wear your best dress!!!

I decided to throw a little tea party for Lily and her friends. The above saying was on the invitation that we sent out. It was so much fun. We had four 3 year olds, one 2 year old, and one 1 year old for a total of 6 young ladies. I made mini cupcakes, bunny cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. We served pink lemonade as our tea and made paper lilies with our hands afterwards. The girls had a ball and chuckled as I walked around the table and said "Tea Mademoiselle" Each girl was very polite and said please and thank you. Lily even showed the girls how to drink with your pinky up. To say the least it was a ball!!!

The Zoo

It was so nice out that we took the kids to the zoo on Saturday. They had a station to make visors, so we did that first. Then it was off to see the animals. We rode the carousel and then went to the petting zoo. Lincoln loved the billy goats and was combing all of them. He loved just going up to them and laughing. We had lots of fun and can't wait for our next trip.

Going to the park with our cousins!!

Last week was my spring break so the kids and I tried to get out and do as much as possible at the end of the week. It was so nice out that we just had to take advantage of it!!! We went to the park with Britni, Ava, and Ember. The kids had and blast and were exhausted later on. Lincoln loved throwing rocks into the stream!!

Fun at the water park!!

Here are some photos of Lily and Linc having fun at the water park.

Lily's Recital outfit

Oh my gosh isn't this the cutest thing you have ever seen!!!!!!!! Tonight at dance we got to pick up Lily's outfit she will be wearing for her recital in June. They didn't actually have class tonight but it was picture night. This was the first time I got to see the costumes as it was a secret. I had a grin on my face the whole time during pictures because of how stinky cute she was. I can't wait for the recital!!!

One year checkup!!

Lincoln finally had his one year checkup 2 months late. He weighed 23 pounds and was 33 inches long. I can't believe how fast he is growing. Here are some pictures of him, he is always laughing and smiling. I love it.....I love him!!!!!

Easter

We traveled to Chad's parents house for easter. It was nice to hang with them and to see Todd, Tammie, Grace, and Clare. Lily had a blast playing with the girls as usual.

Hunting for Easter Eggs

Easter morning Lily and Lincoln did a great job finding the eggs. Lily found a lot of eggs fast but was very helpful to let Lincoln get his fair share. I suppose next year the easter bunny will have to hid them a little harder:)

Coloring Easter Eggs

Lily and Lincoln had fun coloring eggs. Linc of course kept calling the eggs balls and threw one a couple of times. Thank goodness you boil the eggs before coloring.

Cupcakes

Lily and I made easter cupcakes so they could take them to the sitters last Thursday. Lincoln got to enjoy his first licking of the batter when Lily and I were finished.
