Lily and McKay!!!!

Here is Lily playing with her friend McKay. He is our friend Amanda and Travis' little boy. They live in New Mexico and were home for a visit. Lily had a fun time with McKay. Lily wishes that McKay lived closer so she could play with him more often. McKay also got Lily a birthday present, he got her some pj's, a new outfit and a very very cute book. Thank you McKay!!!! Me and my cousins!!!!

This is Lily and her cousins, Grace and Clare. Don't they all look so much alike:) Grace is almost 6, Clare is 2 and Lily is almost 1.

Another fun day at the zoo!!!!!

Today we went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa VH, Mark, Britni, and Ava. We had a great time!!!!!!!!!!! We got on the carousel at the zoo. Lily had a fun ride. Thanks for a fun day at the zoo everyone!!!!!! Can't wait to do it again. Don't worry Grandpa next time we will see all the monkeys:)

Sarah's first birthday party!!!!

Lily went to her friend Sarah's first birthday party on Saturday. Lily and Sarah are exactly two weeks apart. I can still remember when Stacey and I were pregnant with the both of them and Britni was pregnant with Ava. Watching all three of these girls grow up with each other just melts my heart. We had a good time at her party!!!! I can't believe that these two little babies are celebrating their first birthdays already!!!! And Lily's cousin Ava is going to celebrate hers in December. It is so unreal to me that they grow up soooo fast!!!! They have all three grown up right next to each other. They are all such good friends. Lily got Sarah a mermaid block set for her birthday. Happy first birthday Sarah. We love you very much!!!!

Our Friend Sarah is ONE today!!!! Happy Birthday Sarah!!!

Today is Lily and Ava's friend Sarah's 1st Birthday. So last night Lily, Britni, and I snuck out at 10:00 and put a sign and a balloon in Sarah's front yard. Ava couldn't join us because she was already sleeping. It was a lot of fun!!!! Britni and I had to keep telling Lily, shhhh:) Here is a picture of the sign. At the bottom I put love, Lily and Ava. They love their friend Sarah and hopes that her 1st Birthday is the best.

Eating my first ice cream cone!!!!

Chad had to work tonight, so Lily and I went and treated ourselves to ice cream. At this little ice cream shop we go to they give you a free kids cone. The cone is the littlest cone I have ever seen. It was so cute. And it was even cutier to see Lily eating it. She loved it!!!! She was quite a mess when she was done:) When she was finished she feed the rest of her cone to Lola. She's so considerate, she always wants to share with her doggies:)

Taking a bath like a big girl:)

Here is Lily the other night in the big bath tub. I have been still giving Lily baths in her tub in the sink but the other night we gave Lily a bath in our tub. She has a lot of fun splashing around. However, I'm a nervous wreck when I give her a bath in here. She moves around so much and I'm afraid that she is going to fall and hurt herself. She tries to sometimes stand up and when I wash her hair she doesn't know enough yet to close her eyes. In her bath tub in the sink she lays back so it is so much easier to wash her hair because the water just runs off the back. So I think that we will wait a little while until she continues to take a bath in the big tub. At least until she is old enough to listen and stay seated. But I just wanted to post these pictures because I thought they were cute:)

Chad is always playing airplane with Lily. She loves it. Lily sure missed her Daddy this weekend!!!!!!

Here is Lily reading a book as she lays on Holly. She is always laying on one of the dogs. It is too cute. She always lays on them, hugs them and now she is kissing them. She loves her doggies:)

Talking on the phone!!!!

Here is Lily already talking on the phone:) In the second picture I kept saying Hello and she was trying to say it. I swear as fast as time is going she will be talking on the phone in no time:) That is if she is anything like her Mommy and Grandma:)

Bubbles!!!!!

Lily and Ava were having a good time trying to catch all the bubbles. They had soo much fun. Lily has never played with bubbles before and she loved them. I love all of these pictures they both look soo adorable:)

My Uncle Mark is soooo cool, he plays the guitar:)

Tonight we went over to Mark, Britni and Ava's house for supper. Mark made his world famous General Tso's chicken. It was soooo good. I even had to bring home a doggie bag;) Well after supper Mark got out his guitar and started to play, the girls loved it. They both crawled over and practically crawled on Mark's lap. Lily was even clapping for Mark it was so cute. I love the last picture Lily is like Uncle Mark this is some good jams:) Mark tried to play his Nirvana song that he drove me nuts with when we were young, but I instantley stopped him:) We had a good time. Thanks you guys:)

First Trip to McDonalds!!!!

Okay so Lily and I read Grandma H's reply about McDonalds and decided hey Lily is big enough for McDonalds so we went there for lunch. I ordered Lily some chicken nuggets. I didn't get her a Happy Meal but the lady was nice enough to give Lily a toy. She loved it. Lily had 3 chicken nuggets and some of my french fries. I couldn't believe how much she ate. Lily says I LOVE MCDONALDS!!!!!! Her are a few pictures of Lily when we got home with her new toy. Lily's first McDonalds toy, I'm sure it's the first of many:)

Girls weekend!!!!!!!!

This weekend Chad went away for a golf outing with his Dad and brother, so it's a girls weekend!!!! As you can see Lily has gotten all of her toys out and we played and played. Then her and I made pizza's for supper, and then took a bubble bath together:) She had so much fun in the tub. After that we got our pj's on and made a little bed on the floor:) We decided to have a slumber party:) It was sweet for awhile, Lily kept coming over to me and cuddling but then she was off playing around. Finally at about 10:00 she got really tired so I put her in her crib, she was out in no time. We miss Chad, but we had a lot of fun being girls together. I'm so lucky to have Lily, I just love our time together:) It's nice to be able to share just the simpliest things with her. I can't imagine how much fun we are going to have with each other when she gets older. I'm so sad that she is growing so fast but when I think of all the good times that lie ahead I can't help but to smile:)
