Zoo trip with friends

Yesterday we went to the Zoo with my friend Kelly and her kids. We had so much fun.

This is a little clip from last night. Lily kept saying boo to Lydia and she was laughing so hard. I wish you could hear her a little better but it was too funny and of course big sis thought she was big stuff getting little sis to laugh like that. If you listen you can hear Lydia laugh which to me seems even funnier because it reminds me the way Chad laughs. Seeing Lydia laugh is like watching a mini version of Chad in a dress, ha, ha.

Lily's slumber party

Last weekend Lily had Ava over for a slumber party. They had lots of fun.

4 month appointment

Lydia had her four month appointment on July 7th. She did great and is growing very rapidly. She had to get shots which I hate but she cried for a second and quickly stopped when I picked her up. She was 26.5 inches long and weighed 18 pounds. I decided to check Lily and Lincolns stats when I got home and Linc was 18 pounds 2 ounces at 4 months and Lily was 18 pounds 6 ounces at 6 months. I couldn't believe that Lydia was already 18 pounds at 4 months and Lily was just slightly over that at 6 months. She is a happy little girl and is constantly smiling and has just begun to laugh. We love having her as apart of our family and seems as if she has been with us forever.

Father's Day

For Father's Day we went out to eat with my parents and then went to a festival where the kids rode rides and got tattoos. Lily got a butterfly tattoo and Linc got a superman tattoo, even though I encouraged him to get a big heart with Mom in the middle:) We had a fun time. The kids made Chad a mug for fathers day and then we got him some clothes and I bought him a new thermos mug to put coffee in with the kids picture on it. Your a great Daddy Chad, our kids and I are very lucky to have you.

Lily's Dance Recital

Lily did a great job at her dance recital this year. I love to see her dance. She had two performances ballet and tap. We might try something new this year though as she wants to explore. We might try a cheerleading class but we are still talking about it. She has until the fall to decide.

In the beginning of June we went to visit family and Chad took some of these pictures. I'm not sure where I was but when I uploaded pictures these were on the camera. They are pretty cute, I know Lincoln thought he was big stuff when he rode around in the tractor.

My Birthday

So I'm way behind on posting because as most of you know I had to get a thyroidectomy a couple of weeks ago. I'm fully recovered and feel pretty good so I thought I would catch up on blogging. These are some photos of my birthday which was way back on June 11th. My parents came down to celebrate with us. Mom brought me a cake and the kids helped her decorate it. They also planted me some flowers in a pot Mom and Dad got me. Chad bought a card for the kids to give to me that sang celebrate good times come on, that Lincoln would not stop opening over and over again. They gave me some money to buy what I wanted so Mom and I went country store shopping and I bought some things for the house. It was a nice weekend. Oh yeah and Chad and the kids took us all out to my favorite resturaunt La Fogata.
