A little video of Lydia's naughty behavior

My mischievous little Lydia

So Lydia is quite the dare devil lately. From climbing up the stairs, to getting into Lola's bowls, crawling up and laying on my stand, to climbing on her rocking chair and then standing up. She is fearless and when I tell her no no she points a finger at me and says no no. Her new thing is also to say "cheese" all the time so when I snapped these photos of her bad behavior she looked at me with a huge smile and said "cheese." She is such a little stinker but she's my stinker and I love her. She's so darn cute!!!

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year. The kids made me breakfast in bed. They made me french toast with an egg. It was delicious!!! They got me a nice card, Lydia drew me a picture, Lincoln made me a butterfly suncatcher, and Lily made me a picture and a wonderful jewelry box. It ended up being a beautiful day so they took me and got me some flowers. I'm blessed to be the mommy of these three wonderful kids!!!! I love you guys!!!

My new do!!!

Lately I have been letting my hair go to it's original color. I have always had blonde hair but as I have gotten older my hair has gotten darker. For years now I have been only highlighting the top layers blonde and my underneath has gotten very brown. So I decided it was time to see what hair color I was intended to have at the age of 33. Here it is, I still can't believe how dark my natural color really is but this is it. It was a big shock at first but it is starting to grow on me. So far living as a Brunette has been good. The kids and Chad weren't sure but it's growing on them as well. As for my students they all said I looked younger so COOL I'm all for that....lol.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

My baby girl turns one tomorrow. I still can't believe it. It's been such a wonderful year having Lydia come into our lives. She has made our family complete. It seems like yesterday that I was getting ready to have her. It's amazing how fast life passes. Lydia is a very happy go lucky little girl. She is always smiling and loves to be around her sister and brother. She just recently began taking baths with Lily and Linc and she loves the time with them. She splashes and squeels with delight. I'm enjoying savoring every moment of her. Seven years ago Chad and I joined our lives together. Shortly after that we decided to expand our family. First came Miss Lily, man how our lives changed once she came along. Our world revolved around her and we loved it. We then realized that we had so much more love to give and so came our little man Lincoln. What a welcome change that was from 3 to 4. Finally, we decided to expand just one more time and that's when we got our precious Lydia. This journey seems bitter sweet because even though I'm so excited to continue this wonderful life with Chad and my three kiddos I'm sad that the baby part of it all is fading away. I will remember one thing though even though kids have to grow up they will always be Mommy's babies!!!! Happy Birthday Lydia Rose, Thanks for allowing me to be your Mommy.

Birthday Supper!!!

Tonight we took Lincoln to our favorite Mexican Restaurant, La Fogata. We thought it would be fun if we told our waiter that it was Lincoln's birthday so they would sing to him. They came out and sang and brought him some fried ice cream. His face was so cute he wasn't quite sure why these strangers were singing to him but when they put down the ice cream he said thank you. It was a good time. Still can't believe my baby boy is 3. Where does the time go. Happy Birthday Lincoln, Mommy loves you to the moon and back!!!

My babies

Shiver me timbers!!

Lincoln's party was so much fun. We had a full house this year as many friends and family were able to come. We got Lincoln a spiderman bike this year and helmet and he got so many nice things from everyone. I made a treasure chest cake this year and was quite pleased by the way it turned out. I love making these special cakes for my kids. I know they aren't as professional as a store bought cake but I have so much fun doing it and seeing their little faces when I show them the finished product is priceless. At this age they aren't very hard to please they just know that I made it and they like it. I always make my Dad a cake as well because you all know he and Linc share the same birthday. I made Dad a spice cake and I turned it into a map sticking with the pirate theme. It all turned out so great. We also had a treasure hunt for the kids right before it was time to leave. When they were finished the treasure was of course their loot bag to take home. The loot bag contained an eye patch, a map, a whistle, a telescope, money, and some pirate mints. I think everyone had a good time. I enjoyed putting it together but felt as if I didn't have a chance to sit down once and chat with our guest too busy getting everything done. So for all you guest out there I was really happy to see that you all made it sorry I didn't get a chance to chat. We must catch up soon in a more relaxed environmanet, I get crazy when it comes to my kids b-days everything must be perfect for my babies! Only a few more weeks and I will be doing it all over again with Lydia's first birthday.

Ahoy Matey

This year I asked Lincoln what he wanted his birthday party to be. He said I want skulls so we decided on a pirate party. Britni made these special photos just for his party they turned out adorable.

My handsome little man!!!

Here are the pictures that Britni took of Lincoln for his third birthday. They are all so cute even when he isn't smiling. My little man is 3 I can hardly believe it!!!
