We celebrated Christmas with my family the Friday after Christmas at our house. Then we ventured to Scoop and Squeeze's house on Saturday for our Christmas with them. We had lots of fun and as usual the Grandparents spoiled everyone!!!!
Christmas morning was a lot of fun this year. Lily was sooo excited and well Lincoln was cute as well, it was special because it was his first Christmas. I think Chad and I enjoyed it just as much as they did. Each year is just going to get better and better. As I'm sure Lily thinks she got the best presents but I know that I'm the one who has the best gifts of all.....my little family!!!!
Here is a picture of Lily and Lincoln setting out cookies for Santa. Lily and I made these cookies they are rudolph ones made from nutter butters, pretzels, mini chocolate chips and a red M&m. Of course we had to leave a carrot for rudolph as well.
On Christmas Eve I read Twas the Night Before Christmas to Lily and Lincoln. Lily loved it and listened very carefully but Lincoln just wanted to turn the pages:)
So we went to see Santa today and it went rather well. Lily insisted the whole 2 hours we were waiting to see him that she would definetly sit on his lap and low and behold she actually did. Thank goodness since we waited soooooo long. Lincoln of course was a trooper but was very tired by the time we reached Santa I couldn't get one little smile from him. But oh well I'm just glad no one had a break down!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
Lily and I went down stairs to play a game on the computer while Chad and Lincoln stayed up stairs to play. When Lily and I returned upstairs we saw this. Lincoln was playing and managed to scoot himself under the couch and decided to go to sleep. It was so funny I couldn't stop laughing.
We decided to put our Christmas tree up today since I decorated the house for Christmas last week:) Lily had fun decorating the tree and was a very good help.
We were playing down stairs in the basement the other day when all of a sudden Lily said Mom look at Lincoln. When I turned around he had rolled over to the castle and scooted himself inside. He is almost crawling but not quite. He is going to be all in our Christmas tree this year, YICKS!!
Look what else Britni did. Isn't it so cute!!!! Seriously I'm really lucky to have that kind of talent in my family!!!! Thanks Britni for helping me capture memories that I never want to forget!!!
Here are some more pictures that Britni took of Lily. This is Lily's ballet outfit. She started ballet and tap lessons in September and loves going to class every week. This class last all year and on June 20th she will have her first recital. I can't wait to see her!!! About 2 weeks ago parents were allowed into the room to watch them tap dance for the last 5 minutes of class. I loved it so much!!
Once again Britni did a wonderful job with our photos. I love this picture of the four of us. We wore OSU stuff because we wanted this photo for our newly renovated basement. I just look at this picture and Thank God for my little family!!!!
Last weekend we met Mom and Dad in Amish Country. It was a lot of fun but we didn't get to shop that long because the shops close to early and it is hard to get around to places with two kids. Luckily Lincoln feel asleep back at the hotel so I left him there with Chad and Dad. Eventhough we didn't shop for that long I managed to spend all my money and then some:) The kids had fun later that night in the pool. Lily is like a little fish and Lincoln loved it as well. He was kicking his feet like crazy. Lily finally is brave enough to float on her back. We had a great time.
